Mayor Depreo Presented an Update on Projects at City Council Meeting

During the City Council meeting on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, Mayor Nancy Depreo presented an Update on Projects and City Activities.  There are lots of positive things happening in the City of Diamondhead.

Mayor Depreo highlighted projects such as the Street Paving Project; Drainage Projects; MDOT's Exit 16 Improvements; East Aloha Commercial District Revitalization; the Town Center Mixed Use Commercial District; the Dog Park; Montjoy Creek Improvements; Town Center Waterfront District including a new boat launch and pier at the end of Noma Drive.  She also highlighted the cities success at receiving over $12 million grants for projects since incorporation and the strong financial position of the City with over $5 million in cash on hand.  Mayor Depreo also provided information about the non-binding referendums regarding consolidation of public services.
