Purpose of Position

The Public Works Janitorial Employee (Part-Time) will clean buildings and respective grounds by emptying trash, sweeping and cleaning surfaces.  Under the direction of the Public Works Director.

Salary/Hourly Rate shall be determined based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, vacuum and mop floors.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Dust furniture, walls machines and equipment.
  • Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
  • Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Ensure grounds are free of debris.
  • Sweep and maintain sidewalks and parking lots.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
