Kids Fishing Rodeo

Let's Go Fishing!

The Diamondhead Property Owners Association host the Annual Kids Fishing Rodeo at The Twin Lakes each year.  Hundreds of children ages 4-12 come out and enjoy this wonderful day.  The lakes are stocked with lots of new fish the week prior to the event.  The first 150 kids registered get a free t-shirt, rod, reel and bait from Coastal Conservation Association.  there are learning stations for kids, and a free lunch is provided by Waffle House.  Parents may purchase a lunch for cash.

Sponsors include: Diamondhead POA; MS Dept of Marine Resources; MS Dept of Wildlife, Fisherines & Parks; Coastal Conservation Association; Diamondhead Waffle House; MS Coast Coca Cola; and Killer Bee Bait.

Registration starts at 8:30am, and fishing begins at 9:00am.  Diamondhead POA Members may pre-register by calling 228-255-1900, et 170.
