Burn Ban Cancelled in City of Diamondhead

Effective January 20, 2021, The City of Diamondhead cancelled the burn ban that has been in effect since Hurricane Zeta.  Now that the hurricane debris has been removed from the streets, the city manager and the fire chief determined it was safe to remove this restriction.  Residents are reminded that all fires shall be contained in an outdoor fireplace, fire pit or burn barrel.  Reminder, only clean firewood can be burned.
